Unbounded Beauty Birthday Card #2
Stamp Set: Unbounded Beauty
Paper: Basic White Thick Cardstock, Basic White Cardstock, Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper, Summer Splash Cardstock, Peach Pie cardstock
Ink: Summer Splash Ink Pad,
Embellishment: Triple Color Ribbon
Tools: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Playing in the Rain Dies,
Directions:
- Cut Basic White Thick Cardstock to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and fold in half.
- Cut Summer Splash Cardstock by 7-1/2″ x 2-1/4″ scored at 3-3/4″. Mark both sides at 2-1/2″ and 5″. Score diagonally for an X shape.
- Mark front, bottom center at 1-1/8″. Fold in half on 3-3/4″ score line and draw pencil line from the bottom of the diagonal scores to the center point on right and left. Snip out outer triangles to create a kite shape. You can cut both front and back at once.
- Pinch in to create inner mountain fold on both sides to make the kite. There will be some overlap and reinforcing the score lines with a bone folder will help.
- Cut contrasting strips to make a cross on the front of the kite. Using Basic White Scrap, stamp sentiment and attach to inside kite.
- Adhere to the card base and use ribbon or twine to make a tail. Die cut tail pieces from Playing in the Rain dies and attach with Glue Dots.
