Dainty Delight Calendar Easel
Today I’m sharing the second project called Dainty Delight Calendar Easel. It’s a home decor piece using the Dainty Delight Stamp Set and new Core-Colors from Stampin’Up!
I used Parakeet Party Card Stock and Thick Basic White Cardstock for this project. This project was so fun and easy. You should give it a try!
The instructions are below but if you want to watch the step by step video, here it is.
SUPPLIES:
Stamp Set: Dainty Delight
Paper: Parakeet Party Cardstock, Thick Basic White Cardstock
Ink: Stazon Ink Pad, Berry Burst Ink Pad, Azure Afternoon Ink Pad, Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad
Embellishment: NA
Tools: Trimmer, Mini Calendar, Water Painters
Instructions:
- Cut Parakeet Party cardstock 11″ x 8 1/2″ for base, score at 8 1/2″ on long side. Cut a second piece of Parakeet Party at 7 3/4″ x 8 1/2″ and score at 1 3/4″ and 5″ for the stand.
- Cut Thick Basic White Cardstock at 8″ x 8″. Stamp Flowers across bottom in varying lengths in Stazon Ink. Color flowers with medium of choice, ie. Blends, Markers or in this case I used Water Painters and Ink Pads.
- Stamp sentiment on top left.
- Burnish all score lines. Fold the smaller piece of Parakeet Party into a Z fold. This piece sits in the bottom of the front panel and should be adhered approx. halfway up the back of the front panel. Allow to dry. See video for details.
- Cut Mat for calendar 2 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ from Parakeet Party and mat calendar. Attach to front panel in Right upper corner. And you’re done!
