Faux Iris Twist Card
Today I made two Faux Iris Twist cards using the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper and the Something Fancy Stamp Set from Stampin’Up! Daisies make any day feel brighter. It’s loaded with happy flowers—you can’t help but feel the cheer! The instructions are below for these cards. If you want to watch the step by step video, here it is.

Stamp Set: Something Fancy
Paper: Basic White Cardstock, Thick Basic White Cardstock, Moody Mauve Cardstock, Bubble Bath Cardstock, Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper, Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper
Ink: Mood Mauve Ink Pad
Embellishment: Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack
Tools: Stampin’ Trimmer, 2-1/2″ Circle Punch
Directions:
- Cut Thick Basic White Cardstock to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score at 4-1/4″ and burnish.
- Cut Bubble Bath Cardstock 2″ x 5-1/2″. Wrap Ribbon around and tie a bow. Adhere to card base.
- Cut Basic White 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″. Punch 2-1/2″ circle. Stamp the sentiment with Moody Mauve Ink in center of circle.
- Cut Designer Series Paper and Soft Shimmer Paper into (4) 1/2″ x 3″ strips. Adhere to Basic White 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ square starting in the diamond corner and progressing to each corner. Then proceed with the Soft Shimmer in each corner to end with an open square in the center. (see video). Cut excess ends off the front.
- Center the square over the sentiment and adhere together.
- Center this over the Moody Mauve mat cut at 3-3/8″ x 3-3/8″ Adhere to card base with Dimensionals.
