Stair Step Happy Birthday Card

Today’s handmade card is a Stair Step Happy Birthday Card featuring the adorable Sweet Jar Bundle from Stampin’ Up! This fun fold design looks impressive but is surprisingly easy to make — and it’s sure to wow your birthday person. Give it a try and spread a little handmade happiness!

Stair Step Happy Birthday Card

Stamp Set: Sweet Jar Bundle

Paper: Petunia Pop Cardstock, Bubble Bath Cardstock, Basic White Cardstock, Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper

Ink: Petunia Pop Ink Pad

Embellishment: Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems

Tools:  Trimmer, Stylish Shapes Die, Sweet Jar Punch, Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder and Glass Embossing Folder

Directions:

1. Cut Bubble Bath Cardstock 5 1/2″ x 8″. Score at 4″ & 6″.
2. Turn card base so that the 5 1/2″ is at the top and line it up at the 2″ mark.  Cut from the 2″ to the 6″ score line.
3. Turn the card base back to the 8″ at the top. Score at the 2″ cut line to the bottom. Fold on all score lines so that the bottom folds up.
4. Cut 3 Petunia Pop Cardstock at 1 7/8″ x 1 7/8″. Stamp one with Petunia Pop Ink, and emboss two with the Glass Embossing Folder. Adhere all three to the bottom three panels.
5. Cut Designer Series Paper at 1 7/8″ x 5 3/8″ and adhere to right front side panel.
6. Cut Basic White 3 1/4″ x 3 7/8″. Adhere to inside front of card.
7. Using the largest Stylish Shapes Circle Die cut Petunia Pop. Using 2nd largest die cut Basic White cardstock and emboss with the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere both together. Adhere to front of card base with Dimensionals, only on right side.
8. Stamp jar and lid with Petunia Pop on Basic White Scrap and punch out with Sweet Jar Punch. Adhere to card with Dimensionals.
9. Die Cut Petunia Pop banner with Stylish Shapes Die. Stamp sentiment with Petunia Pop Ink. Adhere to card front with Dimensionals.
10. Embellish Card with Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems.
